Ingredients
Cookie dough

all-purpose flour + extra for dusting

powdered sugar

Glaze & Decoration

Instructions
Cookies
Sift the flour and powdered sugar into a large bowl.
Add the butter and rub it in with your fingertips until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
Knead the mixture lightly until it forms a smooth dough.
Divide the dough into two equal portions. Add the cocoa powder to one portion and knead until fully incorporated.
Preheat the oven to 350℉ (180℃)
Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
On a clean, lightly floured surface, use a floured rolling pin to roll out one portion of the dough to 1/4 inch (about 6mm) thickness.
Use cookie cutters to cut the dough into shapes.
Place the cookies on the prepared baking tray.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes or until the edges are firm.
Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool completely.
Decoration
Place the powdered sugar in a mixing bowl.
Add a few drops of food coloring and 2 tablespoons of water.
Mix with an electric mixer until the glaze is smooth.
Dip the cooled cookies into the glaze.
Immediately sprinkle rainbow sprinkles on top of the glazed cookies.
